Tim Gratz continued his and my onging argument, mostly, reported yesterday and several prior days at goodmorningkeywest.com, re Seventh Day Adventists church in Key West Pastor Tim Jemly having sucked off a minor boy named Marshall in the church, as reported to me by Jeremy Jerome, alleged by law enforcement to be Timothy Vanhorn …

Gratz wrote to me yesterday:

Well why won’t you release the details since you have publicized the allegations in general form?

GT could not do a background check on him [Jeremy Jerome] because they could not verify his id

I replied:

That’s probably true, but Jeremy was with GT [Glad Tidings] a long time, he knew people who were there, including pastors, when I arrived in Key West in late 2000, he and I talked a while about one of those pastors - he knew the guy. Jeremy said he was there to help build GT. That was a while back. He said he was active in that church for years. That’s a background check itself.

I replied:

Again, Tim. Background reports do not reveal pedophiles who never have been caught before being pedophiles.

You are doing the same thing the other people did, when Jeremy called them and their churches out.

Pastor Johnnie [Carey] should have talked with me, before he came to Glad Tidings. I would have given him a background report on that church that would have gotten his attention, if his soul was attached to him.

I have not talked with Jeremy about his basis for saying Colin and Marshall picked up where Jeremy and Marshall left off.

Your line of rationale is bizarre; they would not do it in plain view, Tim, unless they wanted the entire world to know about it.

I replied this morning:

First, Marshall’s last name is not Downs, it’s his father’s last name, with which I’m unfamiliar personally, but Jeremy keeps saying Moreigh or something similar. I don’t think I have met Marshall’s father, who I think I recall Sandy [Marshall’s mother] saying lived on the south Georgia coast, then he moved over to near Mobile, Alabama for a while, where he perhaps still is, or he moved back to south Georgia - he is a musician. Jeremy said Marshall’s father came down here because of what had happened with Marshall.

In a dream last night, Sandy got onto me about not having included a “flasher” in something I was building, which was some sort of complicated platform, perhaps for some kind of performance. I thought in the dream I was done building the platform, until Sandy showed up. I pondered the flasher message a while, and concluded it meant I was to go ahead and tell you all of what Jeremy told me happened at Seventh Day Adventists church.

Jeremy said Marshall was there with his friend Luke, whom I have met but it’s been a long time since I saw him. Luke had his guitar with him. They were in the sanctuary, as was Pastor Tim Jemly and Jeremy. Jeremy said Jemly took Marshall into a small room in the church and closed the door, and Luke stood outside beside the closed door strumming his guitar for a while, then said he was leaving and he left the church. Jeremy said he went over to the door and sneaked a look inside and saw what I reported he said he saw: Jemly sucking Marshall off. I don’t recall asking Jeremy how he saw into the room, either by opening the door, or the door was not entirely closed and he looked through the crack.

Jeremy said after Marshal and Jemly came out of the room, he had a private talk with Marshall.

Jeremy also said he made a comment, I think to someone who worked at the church, not Jemly, about how Jemly was in the habit of gesturing his hands like he was gay, and when word of Jeremy saying that got back to Jemly, he stop using his hands in that way.

I wanted to ask Jeremy about the door yesterday, at the soup kitchen, but he was not there. So I didn’t get to ask him about Jemly’s replacement pastor Colin, either. Nor other things I wanted to discuss with Jeremy, including what happened when he visited with the Sheriff yesterday.

I just now checked the Sheriff’s website for mugshots of recent arrestees. No photo of Jeremy Jerome arrested yesterday, nor for Timothy Vanhorn yesterday. Nor could I raise a mug shot for either of them at any time, when I tried just now. The other day, Timothy Vanhorn came right up when I requested his mug shot on the Sheriff’s website. Don’t know what to make of it not coming up today.

Will ask Jeremy about all of that next time I see him. If I see him again.

P.S. The small room may be a closet of some kind. I don’t recall how Jeremy described it, other than it was small, and in the church.

Perhaps it’s been so long since you had sex, Tim, that you forgot what happens in the heat of passion: you kinda loose focus on everything but what’s going on inside your body. Maybe Jemly and Marshall were so focused on what they were about, they didn’t close the door all the way, or they didn’t notice Jeremy quietly open the door and peak inside. I failed to mention, when Jeremy told me about Luke moving over beside the door and playing his guitar, I asked Jeremy, like Luke was standing guard? Yes, Jeremy said. Then, Luke said he was leaving, and he left. I dunno. Maybe Luke saw Jeremy had it figured out, and Luke didn’t want to get dragged into it later. I published a few days ago that Jeremy said Luke was in with Marshall recruiting other children into this sort of thing going on in churches.

Kennedy started the trend of lowering taxes on the wealthy, top rate was ~90% before during Eisenhower’s “Republican” years. He would be called a socialist by today’s GOP.

  Ian Cruikshank The rich still lived very well and as they say “we all do better when we all do better.” Inequality causes us huge societal health problems for example that other countries just don’t have. Japanese people are much healthier even with half of the men smoking - used to be 80% & they were far healthier than us then too. In Japan the rich would be ashamed to take 99% of the wealth from technological productivity gains and give it to the top 1% like we do. American CEOs are paid much more than elsewhere because they sit on each other’s salary committee and hand out lots of perks. Crony capitalism pretending to be free trade.

  Jerry O’Bryan Reid, constitutionally the Congress holds the purse strings, but lately they have delegated functions, including war, to the executive. It does correlate that divided government yields smaller deficits. All team Red yields the worst results.

    Ian Cruikshank Vietnam was started covertly by the CIA as far as I’ve read and Kennedy was killed after threatening to get us out (among other things). JFK didn’t even get one term. LBJ was a hawk and Nixon escalated bombing and atrocities before ending the war (and the draft). Doesn’t change that he too raised the deficit like all other Republicans in the last 50 years. The clean air and water bills were passed during Nixon’s reign but I think he vetoed or obstructed them. And now they’ve been gutted by a Supreme Court stacked with idiots who do not care about public health but only the right of corporations to pollute & profit at our expense.

    Sloan Bashinsky You are correct about CIA in Vietnam, and that’s why Kennedy was killed, he didn’t want to expand war in Vietnam. On national TV, President Johnson, who was in on the Kennedy assassination, promised America he would not send American boys to die in a war in Asia, then he did just that. Vietnam became very hot issue in America, and although Johnson could have run again, he said he was not going to do it: if drafted, he would not run; if elected, he would not serve. Nixon ran on a platform that he had a solution for Vietnam, which he did not explain. His solution turned out to be to beef up the South Vietnamese military as much as possible and bomb the VC and North Vietnam regulars and North Vietnam as much as possible, before pulling out all American military personnel, some of them just barely escaping as Saigon was falling. Does that remind of what US now trying to do in Iraq and Afghanistan? Didn’t work in Vietnam. Not working in Iraq and Afghanistan.
    
    Anyway, two riveting stories I heard about Vietnam.
    
    First story. President of National Geographic spoke to Birmingham Downtown Rotary Club in August, as I recall, 1988. I attended as guest of my father. Someone from the audience asked what was the Geogrpahic’s position on Vietnam? The fellow said the Geographic had correspondents in Saigon when a huge street demonstration occurred, which was shown on American TV stations. The demonstrators carried signs, in English, begging America to save Vietnam from the communists. The Geographic had correspondents in Saigon who mingled with the demonstrators and learned the demonstrators did not speak English, did not know why they were demonstrating, had been paid money by the South Vietnamese government to be bussed in from the countryside to do the demonstration. Later, the Geograph dug into it and learned the money for the demonstration was paid to the South Vietnamese government by the US government and American corporations. The Geographic fellow said that televised demonstration changed American public’s sentiment toward US from staying out of Vietnam, to intervening. My father, a World World II Army Air Corps B 29 Pacific combat aviator veteran looked like he was going to throw up. As did a lot of veterans in that room.
    
    Second story.
    
    In the spring of 2004, in the Unitarian Church in Key West one afternoon, during a “seekers” weekly meeting, a fellow a bit older than me, I’m 72 now, said he was in the CIA and was in Vietnam when the French were trying to recover Vietnam, after having lost it to the Japanese during World War II. While outwardly, America was backing the French in their effort to retake Vietnam from the communists/Ho Chi Minh, his CIA outfit’s mission was to do all possible to help Ho beat the French, so America could replace France in Vietnam, and get access to the rubber trees there, which was what the French was mainly trying to recover, as well as other natural resources, including oil fields. He said Ho wanted to do business with America, but America ended up asking for too much, so, not wanting to do business with China, Ho did business with the Russians. Ho was not a communisit, he just did what he felt was best for Vietnam. I asked the other people in the “seekers” group if they heard what the fellow said? It was as if t they were not there; nobody home. Guess they weren’t prepared for that they had seeked, and had found.
    
    Looks to me the Democrats missed the boat entirely, by not calling for an end to Corporate America War, Inc. overseas wars. Wonder what those wars did to the US budget? Wonder that all that money could be spent in instead? President Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize while waging G.W. Bush’s corporate wars. Maybe it should be a capital offense to belong to either political party. I belong to no political party. View political parties as religions, with attendendant unhappy consequences, mostly.

  Ian Cruikshank The money supply needs to be tied to population IMO. When people are born new money should enter the system. Also trickle down economics doesn’t work. The rich soak up all of the money like a sponge. Even if you tax them heavily and help the poor, will get it right back unless the poor spend all their money on small businesses run from home like family owned farms, lawn cutting, hookers, barbers, masaage, home grown marijuana, etc. Money is like a circulatory system. It serves us poorly when it collects in certain places by hoarding or stock manipulation or derivative gambling.

  Ian Cruikshank The point is he brought Bush’s deficit down, while Bush raised the deficit as did all Republicans after Eisenhower from starting wars, giving tax cuts and welfare to the rich, and a prescription drug benefit which helped Big Pharma push their poison.

  Ian Cruikshank Obama has lowered the deficit $826 B and Clinton lowered it $418 B, based on these figures. Obama inherited a bigger deficit from Bush / Cheney - Dick Cheney said that “deficits don’t matter” when he was racking them up (and profiting by it). They only matter to him and most Republicans when a black democrat runs a deficit (even if it’s thanks largely to Republican policies). Those are the facts and reality. If you have facts to counter, I will gladly read and consider them.

  Walt Lagraves More Donkey Dung, In fact according to White House stats, the deficit declined in ’05, ’06, and ’07. The following year with the Democrats in control of our purse strings the deficit skyrocketed. Democrat BS as usual. Occupy Democrats is fully addicted to lying.     Ian Cruikshank The numbers are more honest under Obama, thanks to legislation he pushed for as i recall. He gets blame for Bush and Cheney’s crimes, when he made the system more transparent.
