More Deer Ed mischief
Pursuant to a dream last night about a dead deer, Facebook activity started by me at Walt Legraves’ Faceook page today, as per his invitation in the April 26th edition of bigpinekey.com’s Coconut Telegraph blog,
published by Deer Ed:
“Fifth: I have moved the flag to Facebook. I’m learning the medium and enjoying it immensely. I urge my critics to come and do battle, to come and defend their beliefs; but they won’t, they simply do not have the stones to step out of the cloak of anonymity. They are back shooters. Oh well, hopefully some folks who are interested in truth will come over and join the dialog. You can find me on Facebook at Walt Lagraves. All the best to the CT community. Walt Lagraves”
Deer Ed once wrote to his readers that he wished he had more contributing writers like Walt and Sloan Bashinsky, but he didn’t see that happening. Ed wrote that when he was getting sharply criticized for publishing stuff from me on the Coconut Telegraph. In Walt’s defense, he was catching heavy chicken little flack, too. I didn’t read Walt all that much on the Coconut Telegraph, because he was blaming everything wrong with America on President Obama and the Democrats, present and past, and I felt there was plenty of blame to lay on the Republicans and their past presidents, too. It didn’t look to me that Walt was getting much reader interaction, yet, with his new Faceook page, here’s his most recent post there:
If you missed the interview of Marco Rubio by Chris Wallace earlier today, you missed a lot. Rubio is the face of America’s tomorrow.
Here’s the interview. http://www.bing.com/videos/search…

So I provided Walt with a little company:

Walt, the Coconut Telegraph seems to have gone down again, nothing new there since Wednesday, May 13. Do you know anything about that? On the politics front, do you honestly, in your heart of hearts, actually believe the Republican have not messed up America just as bad as the Democrats? Looks to me they both carry the blame and need to be pointing as many fingers at themselves and their leaders, as they point away from themselves and their leaders. LOL (laugh out loud, lots of luck - you pick

Walt Lagraves Sloan: In my heart of hearts I fully and completely believe that the Dem’s have screwed the pooch more frequently and infinitely deeper than the Reps. As to the CT. In my last commo with Deer Ed, about a week ago, he advised that he was nearly ready to get going again with a new format. I gathered it would work something like FB. -
Sloan Bashinsky Walt, I know you feel that way about the Demos, in your heart of hearts, and I feel that way about the Republicans and the Democrats, in my heart of hearts, and the angels ain’t enthralled with either party, either. I hope Ed gets back in action, maybe the new format he is working on offering will lend better to what he hopes to achieve on the CT. He is prone to edit hard what is submitted, based on my submissions and what I have seen from other CT readers. I hope he doesn’t do that if he starts a FB type sub-forum for you at the CT. There are a few other points trailing what I posted earlier here, which I will jot down next. -
Sloan Bashinsky Now that it is seen what a mess was made by US invading Iraq, then Afghanistan, how come President Obama, at least, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, amazingly, outrageously, did not get American troops and civilian contractors out of Iraq and Afghanistan right after he got elected in 2008, after indicating thought his campaign that year, that was what he intended to do? I will go to my grave thinking G.W. Bush invaded Iraq for its oil, and to get even with Saddam for him trying to kill G.W.’s dad, who had kinda treated Saddam sort of shabby. Saddam felt he had been given a pass by the American ambassador, that US would not object to Iraq invading Kuwait. He then felt he had been set up by his old pal, G.W.’s father. -
Sloan Bashinsky It was long hoped a natural gas pipeline would be built through Afghanistan into the natural gas fields lying to the east. Halliburton, for which Vice-President Dick Cheney was head honcho, was a super big US defense contractor, and into oil and natural gas. Halliburton stood to, and did make heap wampums in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Gosh, was either of those wars worth one dead, maimed or post traumatic stressed American soldier or contract civilian, or the trauma families of same suffered? I suppose it wouldn’t be cricket to ask the same question for the Iraq and Afghanistan troops and their families. As bad a cluster you know what as Vietnam, which the US waged to try to get that countries rubber tree output, and to try out its new weapons against the Soviet ally, North Vietnam. -
Sloan Bashinsky Then, Israel. Oh, me, did America initial recognition of Israel in 1948, even when the British didn’t want to do it, and then America’s continued alliance with Israel, also fan the flames of radical Islam hatred of America, resurrecting the ire Islam held in long memory from the Crusades. I see one reason why America went with Israel. The Christian Bible, in which the Jews are said to be God’s chosen people. What happened to the First Amendment proscription against Congress establishing a religion? For that’s what US and Israel are all about - the Bible. Just as the other side is all about that, too - the Koran. Alas, they outnumber Americans about 3-1, and they could care less how we feel about them. Make no mistake, Walt, even Saudi Arabia is backing the jihadists against America. The backing is covert, funded by what America pays the jihadists for Saudi oil. -
Sloan Bashinsky If America were smart, it would disassociate entirely from Israel and pull all of its troops and spies and ambassadors out of the Middle East. That’s what I would do, if I were President - first order I give. Then, I would be shot dead by a member of my Secret Service team. Or maybe I already would be shot dead, because I said what was the first thing I would do. And the second thing, end all interaction with Israel over which I, as President, have control -
Sloan Bashinsky I’m including this FB thread today, with your entry yesterday on Marco Rubio, to which I have no comment presently, in today’s “Sloan Bashinsky, the one nation, under God, candidate for US President, 2015, launches his campaign in California, Sicily and elsewhere, and lends comfort and aid to From the Right, a political refuge from bigpinekey.com’s once widely read vicious Coconut Telegraph blog, where the men are men and the doe key deer are afraid” post, as reported at http://goodmorningkeywest.com/?p=30118
