Sorry about no post yesterday, it was not because it was the Sabbath and I was not supposed to work. Au contraire, the sky was falling, the sever I was borrowing kept crashing, I was working my butt off and couldn’t figure out what I was to publish, so I laid low.
Let’s begin today’s mad hatter ball with one of Mike Tolbert’s juvenile witches of Westwick’s parting blast at the Key West wall of shame masterpieces: Peary Court workfarce housing referendum, We are all created equal members of one One Human Family (unless we are homeless), homeless gulag manager Mike Tolbert and his juvenile witches of Westwick, and other shameful things … post at goodmorningkeywest.com.
Mike Tolbert, above, is the manager of KOTS, Key West’s homeless shelter, which the city pay’s Mike’s employer, Southern Assistance Homeless League, SHAL to run.

You know Sloan , it’s just to bad for you that you can’t go read the article I posted about you on the wall of shame . And thank you for making me semi famous . I have found from other people that you garner in your community about as much respect as I figured a mentally unbalanced person such as you seem to be would , NOT MUCH !Many are laughing at you and your silly crap . Those that strengthen themselves by and in deceit such as you , make yourself shameful in the eyes of good men . And for someone who spouts so much about God , Jesus and spirit , how in your warped little mind do you think they like your lies? Twisted little man dance for some more LOL!

Jay, there are many people before you, who have more or less the same opinion about me, and quite a few have expressed their opinion online, either by email, Facebook, into my website comments, into their own or someone else’s website. You easily could have copied what you say I did not include of yours in my post yesterday at this website, and pasted it into that FB thread, or into an email to me, or into a comment at this website, which you clearly know how to do, and I would have published it today, as I told you yesterday I would do. So, I can look at that three ways. One, yesterday’s post included all you had posted into that Facebook thread. Two, what of yours I inadvertently left out of yesterday’s post was not important to the discussion. Three, you were being a horses ass. The way your emotions clearly drive you, and put you into tantrums, revealed in your comments in the Facebook thread, indicates major mental fracture and soul wounding, which your tantrums exacerbate. As did you killing all of your comments into the Facebook thread, and, it appeared Bobbie did the same, because the thread is no longer there, at least not to me, which is the same thing that happened after your two came at me the first time, and I came back with stuff that didn’t suit either of you. I figured it was going that way and so I copied the thread before either of you could kill it. You appear to have no understanding of projection. You appear all outward focused. You appear not to have begun the inner journey, which is the true jihad, to borrow from Islam which understands that not, although the Sufi sects in Islam understand it. As you make that journey, you learn more and more about yourself, and it’s not an easy process, the ego hates it. I know I’m talking to your soul, and your ego is not accepting what I say. Your soul is what covertly brought you to me, and is what covertly kept bringing you back. Even after you killed your comments in the Facebook thread yesterday, you are back. This is a bit bigger than you think it is. There are people who read what I publish who need to observe your and my back and forth, and who needed to see Bobbie’s and my back and forth, and Mike Tolbert’s brief entrance and exit. They needed to see it, because their souls wanted them to see it, because their souls wanted them to see another perspective, which I provide, which, yes, is different, radically different usually. Kari was told in her sleep 2 nights ago, she said, “Sloan is the way, people need to think and live like he does.” She did not like being told that. She still does not like having been told it. I told her it was not my doing, I could take no credit for what she was told. All I can take part credit for is I did not kill myself. Kari said, the angels prevented me from killing myself. You may never meet another like me in this lifetime, Jay. It’s not much fun being so different from everyone around me. It’s lonely. It’s tiring. I don’t look forward to waking up tomorrow, when i go to sleep at night. I weary of Kari going into her alter and coming at me like you do. Part of her wants me dead, the other part keeps bringing her back to me after she implodes. She has found the man who raped her. She melted down later, the proof to me she had found him. I hate to imagine his karma, and Mike’s for sending him to get Kari. Karma is very real, it has its own course to run. It may never be recognized as karma, which is perhaps more cruel than it being recognized when it comes. It does come, but it can be mitigated, or even absolved, but not by the person whose karma it is. Too bad for humanity it did not accept Jesus’ life teachings. Too bad.

Sloan we never killed our FB comments we both blocked you ! Bobbie thinks your crazy and I think your a delusional narcissist.I believe that you spend a lot of time on mental masturbation . You know when I said that I have no formal training I was not totally honest and my life is not your business . But I do not need titles of study and accomplishment to bolster my ego or sense of self worth .I hope you and Kari can deal with your own Karma and the stains you leave in others lives .I have better things to do and I wanted to say , what ever ill comes to you two is out of my hands ! Now picture this I have my back to you two , I am dusting off the bottoms of my feet and walking away from you without looking back . I wonder if you will get the reference .
In reply to Jack off.
Okay, you both blocked me, which killed your comments on my end. Then, I was unable to even find that thread on my end, which, as I said, is what happened to the first FB conversation into which I was included by one of you – somebody blocked me out of it, like happened yesterday. Lots of people think I’m crazy, delusional, narcissistic – you and Bobbie are very late bloomers in joining that multitude. If you’d had an serious spiritual training, you would have approached me and responded to me very differently. You are still in the wading pool, maybe ankle deep. Maybe only just toes stuck in the water. You need the internal jihad in the worst way, but then, so does humanity. You won’t know that, though, until, if, you experience it. Then, you will engage life very differently. Meanwhile, get on with the life you have. Who knows what the spirit world has lined up for you? You don’t know. Nor do I. Nor does anyone, I don’t imagine. But I imagine it will be … unexpected, unpredictable, suspenseful, and maybe not entirely to your liking … People worship Jesus today,as if he is God, but he had very little fun during his ministry, during which he was surrounded by people who did not understand him, and many of them despised him, thought he was crazy, narcissistic. There were two back then, who did know him; they were a team, those three, and you can see who they were by reading the Gospels with an open eye and mind and heart … John the Baptist was not one of them … Vaya con Dios, Jay, gosh what an awful thing to wish for anyone, but it beats the alternative …. Maybe after dusting off your feet, you will met Jesus on something like the Road to Damascus …

P.S. I’d be happy to read what you wrote about me on KW’s wall of shame site, from which site you say I am blocked – just go there and copy it and send it to me in an email: sloanbashinsky@outlook.com.
In reply to Jack Off:
Oh, goodness. Last night, I finally found the wall of shame site, was looking for a website, it’s a Facebook closed group to which anyone can apply, but they have to be accepted to be able to see posts and comment. Disingenuous of you to tell me I am blocked from that closed group. Everyone is blocked, who has not applied to join and be admitted. I did apply to be admitted, that’s pending. You are a piece of work, Jack Off. But then, your handle would expect no less. The closed group is showing 980 members, which is a goodly number. I wonder why they don’t want non-members seeing what they are saying in the group? If they let non-members see what they are saying in the group, that might attract more new member applications than they currently receive.
===================
It’s the next day. Now I cannot find the KW wall of shame closed discussion group FB page. Maybe they blocked me out after I applied to join yesterday? Wish I knew more about IT/Internet/Facebook than the little I do know.
In reply to Jack Off.
So, it’s Monday, February 8, 2016.
Had a couple of dreams since last replying to you.
Two nights ago, City Commissioner Sam Kaufman came to me and Kari, and asked Kari if Mike Tolbert really sent someone to rape her? Kari replied, Mike was interested in her before. Sam restated Kari’s reply as a question: Mike was interested in her before? Kari said, yes.
I told Kari she told Sam in the dream what she knew for a fact from her own personal experience: Mike’s wife Patti Jo had proposed to Kari that Kari and her homeless friend, Jo Patton, come over to Patti Jo’s and Mike’s home and do party sex, but first Mike would have to see and approve Kari. That conversation happened at Patti Jo and Jo Patton’s place of work, the dollar store called Deal’s, on Flagler Avenue. Kari had come there to bring Jo something to eat for lunch. Mike came to see Kari. Kari saw Mike and said she was not interested.
I told Kari she cannot say for sure that Mike sent someone to rape her recently. She only can say the man called someone on his cell phone and asked if Mike Tolbert was there. Then, the man told whomever he was talking to, “I am here and she is here”, and the Navy had given him a great set of boots. Kari left for a bit, and when she came back the man was still there. He opened his cell phone and brought up a map showing KOTS on it and asked Kari if she could show him how to get to KOTS. When she looked at his cell phone, he grabbed her with one hand and put his other hand over her mouth and drug her behind a shrub and pushed her to the ground and yanked off her pants and panties and shoved something hard into her vagina, and then he stood and laughed, and turned and started walking in the direction someone walking to KOTS would go. He had a small backpack. Kari had never seen him before. He did not look homeless to her. She told me the man had practiced “safe sex”, by using an object. Mike had gone on and on with me about how he practices safe sex, after blasting Kari and telling me I should practice safe sex with her. Kari and I don’t have sex, because she has a fistula between her intestine and her vagina, which Mike knew from my having told it in posts at goodmorningkeywest.com. I imagine the man knew of kari’s problem and didn’t want to put his member into her vagina, and I imagine he didn’t want to leave any DNA behind, and it would have been a bit difficult for him to control her while he put on a condom. In fact, if he had stopped to do that, he might have ended up with a good kick to his balls, followed by a palm jam driving his nose up into his brain.
Now for the grand finale, for you and your ardent juvenile witch lover, Bobbie. In a dream last night, you were not able to get enough of sucking me off, and Bobbie could not get enough of me fingering her while you were sucking me off. The dream was both of your souls telling me to publish all of your jack off and my replies to it, showing your real name and email address, just in case anyone wishes to contact you directly. Bon appetit.
P.S.
This morning Kari told me of a dream last night, in which she was wandering through various situations in which people were doing bad things and it was left to her to blow the whistle on what she was witnessing for God. She awoke in great distress because she lives on the street and is totally vulnerable to retaliation from people on whom she blows the whistle. She sees and hears a great deal of bad things going on, and she also hears of it from other homeless people, all of whom are afraid to speak up because of how vulnerable they are to the establishment. Trying yet another tact at getting out of the dream, Kari said she doesn’t want to hurt people by blowing the whistle on them and costing them their jobs. I said, if she doesn’t blow the whistle, she hurts God.
Kari and me at Burger King, above, last spring, soon after we became an item and my then good friends Mike and Patti Jo Tolbert viciously attacked Kari on Facebook and in emails to me, all of which I published at goodmorningkeywest.com
Mike and Patti Jo, below, at Daddy Bones BBQ on North Roosevelt Blvd where I ate many yummy meals before it went out of business because of the very long total redo of that road and Mike went to work at KOTS, as a monitor, and Patty Jo went to work for Deals
Now, let’s do a bit more pearying through the looking glass
in the WorkerHousingKW PAC’s Vote Yes for the city buying Fairy Tale (Peary) Court discussion group, into which its fearless leader, City Commissioner Jimmy Weekly, below, FINALLY stuck his little toe into the calm shark-infested waters:
We are the only political action committee in Monroe County founded with the sole objective of addressing and advancing housing for our workers.
If you support efforts to advance workforce housing in the Florida Keys please like and share our page today!

You are so wrong. I would like to talk to you about this and how important it is for the workers of this community

Sloan Bashinsky What is your definition of worker, Jimmy? You were recently quoted in the Citizen as losing three workers at Faustos, who could not afford rent in Key West, so they moved to the mainland. I mentioned that during citizen comments at the last city commission meeting, and those three lost workers could not afford to live at Peary Court, either. $2,4000, plus utilities, is a lot of rent for a family, or a couple, to pay for a 2 BR apt. I doubt 90 percent of worker families or couples could pay that much per month for housing in Key West. How many Fastos employees could afford that much for housing per month? How many street and sanitation workers? How many yard workers, maids, deck hands, housekeepers, fast food restaurant employees, dishwashers, retail outlet clerks, do you say can afford to live at Peary Court, unless they are double, triple, or quadruple bunking like the East Europeans do who live in Key West? Or even more doubling up by sharing the same bed with someone else, but at different times of day or night, which is going on in Key West. Hot-bedding, it’s called, isn’t it? I would have been with you on this, if you had negotiated a decent price for ALL of Peary Court., which would have let you borrow less money to pay for it, which would have let you charge less rent. But I saw no negotiations. You agreed to pay the developer’s $55 million asking price for everything but the 48 new building rights, and the land under them where the 48 new units, not affordable as advertised, but actually market rate, would be built - 48 building rights the city had GIVEN the developers for nothing. During the negotiations, the developers said the 48 rights were worth $12 million, so they were asking $67 million for all of Peary Court. Manny Costillo told us that at your town hall meeting last year in the ferry terminal. Factor the 48 building rights and the new 48 units into the deal, and the developers will make, not $20 million in 2 years, $55 million less the $35 million they paid for Perry Ct., but $32 million. At the very least, Jimmy, you should have gotten ALL of Peary Court for $55 million, and I bet you could have gotten if for considerably less, given the developers were on the ropes after being beaten before the Historical Architectural Board 3 times, and were looking at having acquired a white elephant, perhaps, for who would pay them what you agreed to pay them, but you? Recall the referendum, Jimmy. Put the city’s new homeless shelter on the soon to be vacated city transit terminal property across Palm Avenue from Peary Court. Watch the market value of Peary Court then fall. Then go back to the developers and see if they are ready to sell at a price you can charge rents to what I call workers can afford to pay.

Sloan Bashinsky From Key West’s Concerned Citizen’s Peary Ct. Facebook discussion, from Colby Fisher: I read the following article in the Key West Chamber of Commerce newsletter about Peary Court that contained some interesting information from the Key West Housing Authority Executive Director Manuel Castillo:
http://www.keywestchamber.org/…/4652…/chowder_2-2016.pdf
On page 3, Mr. Castillo noted that: “According to our current calculations, it looks as if there are 10 or 12 current residents who would exceed the city’s income requirements.” That indicates there is a MAXIMUM allowable income for a family to rent a $2,358 apartment at Peary Court. The article went on to write: “All residents would have to qualify for a rental unit and meet the city’s income requirements for low-income, moderate and median income workers.” My question today is if there is a MINIMUM income requirement for someone to rent one of the $2,358 units? The pro formas I have seen show that 120% AMI apartments will encompass the vast majority of the Peary Court inventory. Exactly what is that minimum income level for the current Peary Court renters who would fall into the 120% AMI category? Will it follow the KWHA chart or will there be any flexibility? For example, if someone is earning $5,000 a month, then $2,358 in rent plus utilities would require about 50% of their income. Would the city rent to that person? Exactly how little can a person earn and still rent a $2,358 Peary Court apartment?
That is the dirty truth about Peary Court. The residents there think they will all be able to stay since they have already shown their capability to pay the rent, but I have the feeling that since there is means testing on MAXIMUM income, then there will also be means testing on MINIMUM income.
Here is a chart from the Key West Housing Authority giving a breakdown of the different rents that can be charged based upon income and size of a household:
https://drive.google.com/…/0B6CIxVRXBk88OWVtTmR…/view…
For example, according to the Key West Work Force Housing Chart, a 2 person married or domestic partner household would need to earn between $93,200 and $111,840 to live in 120% AMI housing. How many of the 30 apartments where the occupation is shown as server or bartender are earning that much? They may be pocketing extra money in cash tips that is not reported, but they will need to show tax returns to verify their income to the city. Right? As such, they won’t be able to show that they qualify for 120% AMI income bracket, and they will need to leave because they don’t earn enough. The irony is that most of the current Peary Court residents would be able to live there longer if it remains under private ownership than if the city buys.
That is the story no one on the pro-Peary Court side wants to tell.

Susie Rodnon If anyone would be so inclined it looks like a few people better go vote “no” on the poll on their website before workforce housing uses the bar graph to promote overwhelming support for the amendment…

Sloan Bashinsky Susie I went to the PAC’s FB page, they have a lot of different posts/propaganda there, I didn’t see where to vote in a poll, can you provide a link in this thread that sends me, others, to that poll? Thanks.

Colby Fisher The poll is at the top right of the column on their homepage:http://workerhousingkw.org/

Susie Rodnon Yes, exactly see upper right hand: “How to Vote”

Sloan Bashinsky Thanks, I was looking all over their PAC Facebook page for the poll. Will include the link my post tomorrow [which, due to inclement weather yesterday, turned out to be today, February 8].
Moving laterally ….
now let’s examine this be kind to all living things doozie from yesterday’s Key West Citizen, my interjected thoughts in bold italics:

Looking both ways
FDOT defends crosswalks others call dangerous
BY GWEN FILOSA Citizen Staff
gfilosa@keysnews.com
Those much-maligned pedestrian crosswalks with the flashing yellow lights along U.S. 1 in Key West and 100 miles away in Key Largo will remain in place, a Florida Department of Transportation official says.
But the state will make some alterations to the crosswalks.
In Key West, the plan is to change the lights from constantly flashing amber to only flashing when someone hits a button first, while in Key Largo, FDOT plans to install an overhead light and place warnings in advance of the crosswalk.
No thanks, says Sheriff Rick Ramsay, of the Key Largo crosswalk at Mile Marker 99.7, where deputies have responded to several collisions since it arrived in April 2014 as part of FDOT’s repaving project.
“There are going to be more yellow lights and it just continues to be confusing,” said Ramsay on Friday. “It’s like this yellow spaceship. You’re going to have this big ugly mast arm going across the road.”
FDOT hasn’t said exactly when the crosswalk changes will come, but the sheriff says the problem is the color of the flashing light.
Red means stop, not amber, Ramsay has repeatedly said over the past two years.
“People have a false belief that the traffic sees them and it’s going to stop,” Ramsay said.
FDOT’s Ramon Sierra, assistant district traffic operations engineer in Miami, defended the state’s stance to install the Key Largo crosswalk, citing three pedestrian fatalities in the area before it was added.
“That crosswalk was built in 2014. There have been three or four minor accidents involving mostly distracted drivers who didn’t stop for other drivers who were already stopped at the crosswalk,” Sierra announced Thursday. “There have been crashes. They have been minor in nature.”
But those deaths were all at night and most involved alcohol, Ramsay said, blaming wasted resources, property damage and injuries on the amber lights.
“They took a problem that did not exist and they created a problem,” Ramsay said.
Well, Sheriff, how ’bout you start having deputies cruise up and down Key Largo’s segment of US 1 from, say, 6 a.m. to midnight, daily? That should slow traffic down and perhaps save a few accidents FDOT doesn’t seem to give a dead skunk about.
Closer to the end of U.S. 1 in Key West, FDOT added five pedestrian crosswalks along North Roosevelt Boulevard, complete with constantly flashing amber lights and signs alerting drivers — in four lanes total — to yield to walkers.
City leaders last year asked FDOT for help in modifying the crosswalks but any decisions belong solely to the state.
“The city and the residents have lodged their frustration with FDOT but the ball is in FDOT’s court,” said city spokeswoman Alyson Crean. “We can’t go change it.”
During citizen comments at several city commission meetings, I told your bosses in city hall, Alyson, the mayor, city commissioners and city manager, to tell their police chief to start having KWPD cruisers, in shifts, drive up and down North Roosevelt Blvd from around 6 a.m. to midnight, to slow down the traffic on that pedestrian crossing death trap and to encourage motorists to stop for pedestrians at the crosswalks. Your bosses looked at me like I was daft. I looked back at them like they were daffy.
Same happened when I told them, several times, to paint over and hide the bicycle death trap lane markings on the right sides of incoming and outgoing North Roosevelt Blvd. Don’t you think, Alyson, the city police making the North Roosevelt Blvd death trap safe is just as important as them making homeless people’s lives miserable?
Last fall, Sierra said the state would change those crosswalk signals so that they only flash when someone wants to cross.
“We found out they should look more like the one in Key Largo; that’s exactly what we’re going to do,” Sierra told reporters.
“The driver needs to stop because the pedestrian has the right of way,” Sierra said, quoting Florida law as requiring drivers to yield when pedestrians begin crossing.
But, he added, “We want the pedestrian to look both ways.”
Sierra, you really should come down here and spend a few days walking up and down North Roosevelt Blvd, crossing over and back at each crosswalk, to see just how many of our motorists yield to pedestrians, and just how many do not yield. I lost count months ago of how many birds I flipped at motorists, including one KWPD cruiser, blowing through North Roosevelt Blvd pedestrian crosswalks, where I was standing in plain view trying to cross.
