Syrian refugees
Yesterday, a waitress at Harpoon Harry’s, in Key West, told me that she is from Hungary, whose citizens are either Christian or Catholic. She said A LOT of Syrian refugees came to Hungary, and they trashed every place they were, and they stole whatever was lying around and broke into buildings and stole more. It was a big mistake letting them into Hungary.
My lady Kari, a refugee in the nearby county jail, told me on the telephone last night that there was a big commotion in the evening TV news about President Obama letting Moslem Syrian refugees into America. I went online and found this, my interjected thoughts in bold italics:

Obama: Ted Cruz’s religious test for refugees is ‘shameful’

WASHINGTON–President Barack Obama said Monday it’s un-American to consider religion when resettling refugees in the United States, criticizing politicians like Sen. Ted Cruz open to admitting Christians, but not Muslims.
Cruz later told CNN’s Dana Bash he would introduce a bill banning Syrian Muslim refugees from the United States.
“When I hear political leaders suggesting that there would be a religious test for which a person who’s fleeing from a war-torn country is admitted … that’s shameful,” said Obama in a Monday press conference in Turkey. “That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion.”
Tell that to the Gentile inmates in the Monroe County (Florida Keys) Detention Center, in Key West, who are being fed cow and pig food, while 3/4 non-practicing Jew April Thomason, charged with murder, thanks to a local rabbi and somebody he knows in the jail or the Sheriff Department, is being fed fresh fruit, green vegetables, meat and milk.
“I think it is very important for us right now — particularly those who are in leadership, particularly those who have a platform and can be heard — not to fall into that trap, not to feed that dark impulse inside of us,” Obama added.
Aw come on, El Presidente. Look around you. Look at what just happened in Paris. Sometimes stuff happens, which requires people to change the way they have been doing things. But if you must let Syria’s refugees into America, lead the way by putting as many of them who are Moslems as can be fitted into the White House. You should be comfy with that, your father was Moslem. Lead the way, Sir. It’s the Christian thing to do: Love your neighbor as yourself, even if he is from a different and detested tribe and religion than yours. (Parable of the Good Samaritan)
Obama, speaking at the G20 summit in Antalya, didn’t mention Cruz by name, but the Texas senator and 2016 presidential candidate advocates settling Middle East Christians fleeing ISIS in the U.S., but not Muslims.
“It makes no sense whatsoever for us to be bringing in refugees who our intelligence cannot determine if they are terrorists here to kill us or not. Those who are fleeing persecution should be resettled in the Middle East in majority Muslim countries,” Cruz told Fox News’s “Fox and Friends” on Sunday.
Amazing, I agree with Cruz. Horrible as the Syria refugees’ plight is, Syria isn’t America’s problem. It’s Islam’s problem. America should have divorced itself from the Middle East a long time ago. Reasons and possible America survival strategies reported in the latter part of yesterday’s April love in Key West synagogue and jail, plus retro save America from Islam strategies post at goodmorningkeywest.com.
“Now on the other hand Christians who are being targeted for genocide for persecution, Christians that are being beheaded or crucified, we should be providing safe haven to them,” Cruz added.
Not amazing, I don’t agree with Cruz. Jesus told people to love their enemies. Nevertheless, I think resettling the Syrian refugees is the Middle East, Europe, Eurasia and Africa’s task.
Cruz had previously called the Obama administration’s plan to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees “the height of foolishness,” arguing ISIS could infiltrate the group to attack the U.S. He reiterated his stance in South Carolina on Sunday, but didn’t explain how he’d determine if refugees were Christian or Muslim, according to the Washington Post.
Well, you could feed them BBQ pork, and see if they eat it. But then, the Christian bible says eating pork is an abomination (Leviticus), so even though the Koran forbids Moslems eating pork, maybe Syrian Moslems won’t have any problem eating it, to get into America. More to the point, anyone can say they are Christian, Jesus saved them, and not know ding squat about the Jesus in the Gospels, or live as he advised people to live.
“There is no meaningful risk of Christians committing acts of terror,” said Cruz.”If there were a group of radical Christians pledging to murder anyone who had a different religious view than they, we would have a different national security situation.”
Oh, horse feathers, Cruz. I personally observed Christian Republican President George .W. Bush and Christian Democrat President Barack Hussein Obama commit ongoing acts of terror against Moslems by sending US troops to fight wars in Moslem countries, which were not worth one dead, wounded or post traumatic-stressed American soldier.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, another GOP presidential candidate, also supports admitting Christian refugees, but not Muslims.
Refugees from Syria seeking admittance into the United States must pass a rigorous screening process, including several security checks, biometric screening, an interview with the Department of Homeland Security and a cultural orientation, according to BuzzFeed News.
Hmmm. Perhaps the Homeland Security officials, who approve Syrian refugees settling in America, should assign those refuges to their own home towns, to prove just how sure they are there will be no problems with those Syrian refugees.
More than 130 people died in coordinated terrorist attacks in Paris on Nov. 13. ISIS has claimed responsibility, and a Syrian passport used to travel with refugees to Greece was found on the body of one of the attackers. Investigators are still trying to determine if the passport is genuine.
Obama’s criticism comes as Republican lawmakers and governors fight the administration’s refugee resettlement plan. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and 10 other Republican governors said they wouldn’t take in Syrian refugees as key members of Congress call for defunding the resettlement through a must-pass government funding bill.
“We cannot allow Syrian refugees in the United States in the current dangerous environment,” Rep. Kay Granger, R-Fort Worth, told Politico. Granger controls the House panel on State Department funding.
“We have provided significant assistance to the refugees and nations in the region to address the crisis, and that should continue to be our response.”
I disagree. Let the Pope work this out. He says all religions get you to God. He has far more sway over there than America has. It will be interesting to see how it goes after he tells the Italian government to let the Syrian refugees come to Italy,
Granger’s Republican colleague, Rep. Brian Babin of Woodville, is rallying support for a bill he introduced in July blocking any refugee resettlement.
“The terrorist attack in Paris by militant Islamists is a loud clanging alarm bell to Congress and the American people warning us why we must block Obama’s reckless and foolish plan to allow tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into the U.S.,” said Babin in a Monday statement.
Repeating what I suggested in yesterday’s April love in Key West synagogue and jail, plus retro save America from Islam strategies post at goodmorningkeywest.com, America should bring all of its troops home and use them to seal its borders with Mexico and Canada, and use its navy to seal its sea ports, and not let anyone into America, including Americans who did not return within one month of the boarders and seaports being sealed.

CEO Undergoes Gene Therapy To Reverse Aging
Ste Davies STE DAVIES
posted on Oct. 18, 2015, at 3:16 am

Liz Parry allegedly receives two forms of life extension gene therapy at an undisclosed location in Latin America.
The first attempt at using gene therapy to prevent regular aging allegedly happened last month in what could spell the beginning of a new era in do-it-yourself genetic modification.
CEO and founder of BioViva Sciences USA Inc, Liz Parrish, claims she underwent gene therapy at an undisclosed location in Latin America where she received two forms of treatment, including muscle mass enhancement and therapy to increase the length of the telomeres, the DNA caps which protect the chromosome from deterioration and are associated with longer life span.
Parrish announced in a Reddit AMA that she had gone through the therapy and if successful she plans to roll out a public offering in three to five years despite neither treatment being FDA approved. The results of the therapy are yet unknown and she says she feels no different so far but believes it will be months before any changes occur. If successful her body, in theory, should begin to de-age.
In a recent interview Parrish said BioViva is a gene therapy company that targets aging as a disease by focussing on research and procedures that reverse aging such as epigenetic changes, muscle mass changes, cleaning up of DNA damage and misfolded proteins.
“I am patient zero. I will be 45 in January. I have aging as a disease” she said on Reddit.
MIT Technology Review, which first reported the announcement, has attempted to verify the accuracy of Parrish’s claims but so far has only received confirmation from her company. The article claims the procedure was filmed however so it’s likely a documentary style video of Parrish receiving the treatment will be released in due course.
Is this the beginning of a new era in health and longevity or another foiled attempt at defeating the inevitable sands of time? Through Parrish’s somewhat brave and somewhat irresponsible actions we will find out. I wish her well.
sure, that’s what we need, that will fix their bioprogramming
Sancho replied to Mouse:
Believe me, Mouse, this fear of death is at the heart of all this craziness we see in Humans… the religious fervor that causes people to blow themselves up is based on some type of innate desire for immortality… even the good deeds that people do are based on some type of future reward(heaven)… it is because we know that our life is limited and that we eventually lose everything we have, that we search for some way out of this inexorable march from the cradle to the grave… even if is just existing in the memory of those who remain.
If you were to tell a child that a monster exists that devours all children and that it can be anywhere, how do you think that child would grow up? If the child saw what happens to others that were “taken” by this monster, what do you think will happen to the psyche of that child? If you could somehow stop the aging process(senescence, oblivion, the monster) people would not grow up with that sword of Damocles hanging over their heads, people would no be susceptible to manipulation by those selling a way out… biological time would be left out of the survival equation and perhaps we could then concentrate in finding ways to make the World a happier place, here and now… fuck heaven and posthumous fame!
A true lover of wisdom has hands too busy to hold on to anything! He learns by doing and every pebble in the path becomes her teacher! Oink
I replied to Sancho:
But, Sancho -
Do not children see the monster without any help from grown ups, when they see people get sick and die, get shot and die, get killed in automobile wrecks, commit suicide, and they never see anyone not eventually die? How do you vanish that biological clock from children’s minds? Ah, send them a cruise missile in the middle of the night when they are sleeping. They never know what hit them.
I think, personally, it is fear of God that causes people to fear dying, and it is fear of God that causes people to become religious, or worse, fanatics, or worse, terrorists, in God’s name. God must be thrilled with how it has all turned out, so far, in this screwed up species. Assuming God ever even thought about this species - I mean, this planet is but a photon in a vast, perhaps boundless universe, which itself might just be a photon in a vast boundless universe, which itself might be a photon, and so forth and so on -
Maybe God never even heard of the 3rd planet from a star on which all life on that planet depends to survive. Maybe a band of angels whose cell phones got disconnected from the 1-800 number for a billion ages made this solar system and everything in it. Science will never be able to prove otherwise, nor will religion, thankfully perhaps.
Meanwhile, bacteria of all kinds thrive in human beings and everywhere else on that 3rd planet from the sun. Why not make bacteria God? The blame and the fame needs to be put somewhere, otherwise, it falls on human beings or God.
Mass murder, or terrorism, is what human beings are doing to the 3rd planet from that sun, and to themselves, and to each other, in myriad ways. Children see that going on and they join in the progrom.
Ciao, you bearer of glad tidings and joy, you -

Sure all that is true from a limited Judeo-Christian perspective, but more generally, what I am saying is that consciousness is a double edge sword, it allows us to evoke a unique separate entity(self) that is able to interact with the World, observe patterns, quantify time and space… and of course, make predictions so we can build a better and better “mouse trap!” But it also creates the idea of possession and territoriality, not as instinctive drives for survival, but as mental constructs. Money(gold) is one the greatest human mental constructs but there is one that really beats them all and it’s what you just alluded above… the idea of a personal creator… it springs right out of the biblical idea of Adam and Eve eating of the “fruit of knowledge” and becoming aware that they were naked(fear of not being accepted, judgement)… once you are aware that you exists, you are aware that other things exist and you begin to wonder where they come from? Who created them and how you fit in… God is the Human answer to these questions… and of course the most important and difficult question is why we suffer, get old and eventually die? If you remove aging and decrepitude the other things are really up to us to manage(God becomes as useless as training wheels to an expert cyclist)… this is difficult to see because death and dying is so much part of our psyche… imagine a culture where the passage of time would mean nothing to the human body… a body that would constantly be regenerating and self-repairing! That was the original point of the article… I am not the downer here, Mouse is! ![]()
It’s interesting to note that, according to the book of Genesis, after Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of knowledge and became self conscious, they also became Mortal! Actually, they were always mortal… they just didn’t “know” it before the snake started whispering in Eve’s ear. ![]()

First, the corpus, er, mouse, delicti, followed by more of moi excretings.
Looking at the guinea pig, er, patient’s current, or near current, mugshot, I’d say Parry already has spent considerable time and money in “beauty parlors”, and vanity might be what really is driving her.
Aside from that, this article reeks of the kind of Sci-Fi stuff I read from time to time, going back a very long time, new limbs, new bodies, restoring old bodies from time to time to their earlier state, even to a better and new state, with new and better abilities - it won’t surprise me for scientists to break into that plunder house, Gwad, would the rich people flock to it; Gwad, would there be mountains and oceans of money to be made, while the poor watched on, Elysium, you fucker, you came TRUE!
Unfortunately for your many schemes to get around it, Sancho, I know for a fact angels actually do exist, and I know for a fact I can no more prove that to you, than you can prove angels and God and demonic forces do not exist, or that the “universe” just hatched out of nothing, ahem, thin air. That’s the beauty of this arrangement, nobody can prove how any of it got stared, really runs, and will end, if it ends.
Oh, I left out the ET races, which get around super well in space, and, in fact, many of them do physically restore themselves in ways perhaps far in advance of what Parry thinks she is attempting. Gwad, what if she ends up with a long horn growing out of the middle of her forehead, and cloven feet, and three eyes? And a penis? Maybe she’s been wishing for a long time she has a penis?
Parry says she’s “patient zero”. Interesting, I’m just a little way in to the novel YEAR ZERO, which is about ET races stumbling across Earthing music beamed into outer space and going bonkers over it, because it’s so much better than ET music, but, a Catch 22 arises when the ETs realize Earthling copyright laws have caused the ETs to owe Earthlings more money than the ETs can even imagine, much less which they possess, so right now two ET representatives are in an American literary author’s office, trying to hire him to help them with their “China Syndrome”, I just now came up with, given now much money America owes China.
Even as I, my dear provocateur, am dragging me through another tar pit the angels threw me into, which no amount of gene rejuvenation therapy can moderate. It ain’t dying that scares me, it’s living what does that. Or so I keep saying that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Ta, ta - give my best to Mouse, may he find the gang right for him - see the ending to the movie “Full Metal Jacket”. [The Mickey Mouse Club song, “Who’s the leader of the gang that’s made for you and me? M I C … K E Y … M O U S E!”]
I can’t imagine you want to live on this insane asylum planet for as long as Parry thinks she wants to live here.
Don Q
P.S. Year zero is the year in human time, when the ETs discovered human music and the entire creation started worshiping same, despite the fact there was nothing else about humans worth mentioning.
Sancho sent me Mouse’s response:
when I die, the universe dies to me/with me. Don’t have much use for fear, of death or god.
I replied to Sancho:
If that truly is Mouse’s view of what happens when he allegedly dies, he’s gonna be really surprised he’s still around, and the universe too - :-). If the shoe fits, Sancho - :-). The folks who might have the most surprise when they allegedly die are those who think their bible (generic) has it mapped out for them, and for everyone else. Fortunately, or unfortunately, for them, and for every one of us 2-leggeds, how we live, what we do with our lives, how we relate to other people and this planet, and to life’s servings before we allegedly die, is what we take from this life into the continuum. If Mouse does not experience fear, of death or God, then he is a rare 2-legged. Or he is spoofing you. Or himself.
