In the blue paper reader comments under the latest Bob Dean article [State Attorney Challenges FKAA Chairman’s Right To Vote In Key West Elections] is a comment from Colby to me saying Ed Swift and David Paul Horan both live in Key Haven and that is the district in which they vote. If they know where they are supposed to vote, then I can’t imagine Bob Dean doesn’t know where he is supposed to vote.

Sancho Panza sent me something on the Pope and President Obama, and their so-called affection for the poor, which probably ain’t going down well with the Pope and his hordes of fans, nor with President Obama and his hordes. Will include that in today’s post at goodmorningkeywest.com, with Sancho’s and my banter about something else most interesting he sent on a “lost” tribe in Mongolia, which seems mostly uncorrupted by modern civilization.

Kari is struggling in the jail, lots of taunting from the “gang” of inmates who provoked her and she ended up in lockdown for 2 weeks. When I visited her two days ago, she said she woke up that morning with her skin all swollen up in hives, that’s in addition to all the itchy sores all over her skin caused by her soy allergy, and a really hot shower, that’s all the kind of shower the jail provides, helped bring the hives down. I said that sounded like stress. I told her I was thinking to myself before I got to the jail, if I came into a pile of money, would she “behave” if I bailed her out? Yes, she never wants to be in there again, she said.

Over the past two days, I told Kari about my incarceration by psychiatry, and the ensuing black night of the soul, which probably was slated in any event, which was horrible, but was made more horrible by psychiatry’s pills. Kari varied between shock, laughing and fighting back tears, as I laid it all out. I said I know what being incarcerated is like, but not in the way she is experiencing it. Maybe I will be moved to write it all down, again. It was a trip through the bottom of hell. Kari is doing her own version, but she still has her mind seeming in tact.

I did not have that in the black night; there is no way to imagine the black night, unless you have experienced it. The dark night of the soul is a walk in the park compared to the black night, both of which John of the Cross described in his commentaries, with a woe be to anyone who goes into the black night, which follows by some period of time the dark night, for some people; while other people, who experience the dark night, do not go into the black night. My psychiatrist had never heard of John of the Cross, nor of the dark night of the soul, nor of the black night. I could not imagine how he had not at least even heard of it.

I imagine the dark night, and even the black night, are not unfamiliar to some homeless people, even though they might not know to call it that. Treating those people with pills is futile, and causes even further unimaginable pain and suffering, often buried under booze, tobacco, and other coping substances, which only exacerbate the dark or black night, which is driven by the soul, which has chosen that route because it bypasses the mind altogether and is a super fast track spirit leap, and a very dangerous one, if it’s the black night. John of of the Cross said only the lucky and strongest survive the black night, and they need to be looked after, cared for, until it runs its course, by people who know what the victim is experiencing and will not do something to make it worse.

I was not so fortunate; somehow I survived it anyway; the angels must have seen to that.

THERE AREN’T MANY “LOST” tribes any more — the realities of the modern world means that most formerly nomadic people have settled down into cities, and that virtually everyone, for good or for bad, has been brought into the global fold. The Dukha tribe is one of the rare exceptions. The Dukha are a Tuvan-Turkic tribe that lives on the border of Mongolia and Russia, and they are best known as reindeer herders. But their connection with animals extends far beyond reindeer.

Photographer Hamid Sardar Afkhami traveled to the Khovsgol province of Mongolia to take pictures of the few Dukha families that remain: there are only a few hundred people within 44 families left.

The children of the tribe are raised surrounded by reindeer, and they build a close connection.

The Dukha do not typically eat the reindeer unless the animals are no longer capable of helping them hunt or travel.

Unfortunately, the number of reindeer is dwindling, and there is no program to help replenish the reindeer from nearby Siberia.

Many of the Dukha make their living off of tourists who either want to ride domesticated reindeer or buy their crafts.

Otherwise, the Dukha hunt for their income or sustenance.

The Mongolia Taiga is a particularly challenging land — it is difficult to navigate and endures harsh winters.

The Dukha, though, have been doing what they are doing for hundreds of years under the Chinese, Russian, and Mongolian states.

The Dukha have a strong connection to their animals, and they believe the connection is spiritual.

The reindeer are totally domesticated — the other word for the Dukha is Tsaatan, which directly translates to “reindeer herder.”

The Dukha think of themselves as “sharing” the landscape rather than owning it.

It is perhaps for this reason their connection with the animals are so strong.

The Dukha also train wolves.

Another major element of live is hunting with Eagles.

Eagle hunting is an ages-old tradition, and is considered to be a particular honor.

Eagle hunters are well-respected within their tribe.

The Dukha have surprisingly been able to resist much of the influence from the outside world even into the 21st century.

It is perhaps because of their connection to nature and to the animals around them.

You can do more to help these indigenous communities survive here.

“Religions and, yes, even certain ‘economic systems’ have preached poverty as the way to salvation, or at least a ‘more honest’ life. Poverty is promoted as a kind of test of faith. But the promoters always had cash in the bank. The catch is this: in order to reap the spiritual rewards, a poor person has to remain poor. Otherwise, how can he continue to know true glory? The modern version of this is: a victim is a victim forever. Otherwise, he might eliminate the need for ‘social justice’ and the con artists who peddle it. Don’t spend a few dollars cleaning up the contaminated water systems in Third World countries. Don’t give back good growing land that was stolen. Poverty and starvation are glamorous. They give rise to humanitarian ideologies that front for theft and destruction on a grand scale.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

He’s here. The Pope. And his covert Jesuit message is: let’s get rid of separate nations, eliminate private profit for the middle class, and return to those glorious days of the Middle Ages; my Church flourishes under those conditions; we know how to deal with wall-to-wall misery; oh, and here’s the collection plate.

He’s part of the international gang that throws around the word “capitalism” as if it’s a mortal sin.

Making distinctions isn’t the Pope’s forte.

He ignores the differences between mega-corporations who align with governments (and his Church) to create a Globalist Order…and the untold numbers of small businesses owned by people who want to work for a living and earn a profit.

For the Pope, it’s all “capitalism.” Everything should be free—which, translated, means: almost everyone should be poor.

Migration of populations? No problem. It’s a good thing. After all, it helps, in the long run, to erase borders and nations and turn back the clock to more troubled times.

That’s the op, and the Pope is on board with it. He and Obama will get along well. Obama is in charge of making sure the inner-city communities he champions will stay poor and have ample targets to blame.

Obama never intended to create jobs in those inner cities and transform them. That was never on his agenda. He never intended to speak about how the jobs and the companies were lost there, as one Globalist trade deal after another sent work and factories overseas. Obama is touting new trade deals.

He and the Pope will give each other a nudge and a wink.

If these two have their way, the “settled science” on manmade warming will trigger global cuts in energy production (except for favored companies), thus creating even more horrific poverty among the Third World countries which are supposed to “benefit from the rational distribution of energy”).

These two men know how to use “humanitarian” utterances to front for their real goals. They know how to play that tune up and down the scale, instilling the proper amount of guilt along the way.

The Pope and the President will be popping champagne corks. It’ll be a party.

Obama: Your Holiness, I’m a rank amateur when it comes to psyops. You folks have been running cons for a couple of thousand years give or take. So any tips you can offer me…

Pope: Don’t kid a kidder, Barack. You’re doing a bang-up job. You started off with that messianic salvation utopia thing, and then you put it on the shelf and went for social justice, which is a biggie, because it diverts attention from the fact that most people just want jobs and enough money to survive—and of course that is never going to happen…

In his first comments to the press after election as Pope, Francis said: “This is what I want, a poor church for the poor.”

1.2 billion members, a separate nation (the Vatican), an estimated $170 billion in annual spending…sure, a poor church.

The “for the poor” part of the Pope’s quote is accurate. As in: a return to greater poverty. In such a world, the feudal lords will fill the collection plate.

There’s just one problem with the Vatican’s Globalist agenda. It doesn’t quite mesh with the mega-corporate view of Globalism. As fewer and fewer people around the world can afford to buy what the corporations are selling, a crack-up will occur. But for the Pope, those are petty details. He’s with the mega-corporations on the surface; but at a deeper level, the Vatican wants what it’s always wanted: chaos, poverty, and top-down control.

The Mongolian tribe may still have a shaman or two. Shamans live in their tribe, are an integral part of it, symbiotic with it; the tribe takes care of its shaman, the shaman takes care of his/her tribe in the way shamans do. Compare that to the article you sent later about the Pope and President Obama and capitalism. I bet people who love the Pope ain’t thrilled with that article; but the author is right, of course, the Vatican is a mega-profit center, on par with, hmmm, mega international corporations. If the Pope wants to get real about being poor, he should don blue jeans and a t-shirt and plastic water shoes, called “Toyotas” in parts of the Caribbean , and work a few years on a rural Cuban dirt farm, where plowing is done by horse, mule or ox; or, he could wear same attire and sleep nights at KOTS in Key West for a few years. Same would do wonders for Obama, too late for him to do America any good. This Mongolian tribe have a rugged existence, but they seem to have retained their souls, they seem to be in tune with something very real all around them; I can’t imagine them being viable in the next 50 years, unless they are a role model for coming human evolutionary attractions, a real revolution.

Just write our names on your 2016 ballot, for USA President and Vice-President, or for King and Queen, which would give America a better chance, since that would free us from having to deal with Congress and the Supreme Court. But then, with our magic shaman wands, we could turn Congress and the Supreme Court into frogs, and then Kari could use her Glock to shoot them, if she was feeling kindly; otherwise, she might just shoot off one of their legs and let them live out their days hopping on three.
