Received word day before yesterday that my brother’s first wife passed over on October 2. Gayle had called me about three weeks prior and we’d had a wonderful long talk about many things. We laughed a lot, I laughed a lot more than a lot over her telling of someone we both knew pretty well coming to her and asking if she was going to heaven? She told him she was sure of it, and then she let him have it. She said she was headed to the North Carolina mountains for a week with her husband, Martin. There was no sense of impending urgency. We talked of my driving up to Birmingham after they got back, if I was up to it. We didn’t talk again and no one called me to say there had been a turn for the worse. I was not up to make the trip to Birmingham for the memorial service, which is today. Gayle is gone. There is nothing I can do about it. She is in heaven. She was a soul sister. The most upbeat person I ever knew, except perhaps her father. Genuinely upbeat. She will be sorely missed by many, many people.
As for the Walden goings on, I was hammered in nap dreams after posting yesterday’s lady dolphin braintransplant post-op. Something about my father going missing and my having no fire in one dream. In the second dream, my lower legs were breaking out in what looked like hemophilia, like serious hemorrhaging was imminent. I awoke seriously freaked out: What was I not seeing and writing that I needed to see and write? I dragged myself out of bed and went online and found this in my inbox from an old Birmingham friend I had first gotten to know when we attended Ramsay High School quite a few lifetimes ago.

A kid in Arizona wrote the attached
NEW School prayer:

No word of God must reach this crowd.

I was already thinking of writing a sequel to what I had reported at the very end of yesterday’s lady dolphin brain transplant post-op, of being strongly nudged toward running for the local school board next year. Being on the school board would be like being a father, and in my training and work, fire means Jesus, as in the baptism of fire. And blood means Jesus. So here is what I wrote back to my old friend.
Hi, Charlie.
I think it’s still allowed to pray individually out loud in schools, as long as you don’t disrupt a class, but not to turn it into a Christian revival, so to speak. The Lord’s prayer is a Christian prayer. My recollection from the Gospels, Jesus advised praying to God in secret and being rewarded by God in secret, instead of praying publicly like the Pharisees, who did it to show off their self-righteousness. Maybe this kid should read the Bible more closely.
I found myself thinking after I finished putting together this morning’s lady dolphin brain transplant post-op post, that it might be a really good idea for all American public schools to require all students to take a course in religious history. Maybe that would help provide some bridges and understanding where none exists. Might be hard to pull off, though, finding teachers who would keep their personal views out of it, especially teachers who were Christians.
Something most Christians don’t know is Jesus is mentioned often in the Koran by Mohammed. Jesus is said to be a Prophet. He is not maligned, but Mohammed is said to be the Last Prophet. While Christians rebuff that, correctly, there have been many Prophets since both Jesus and Mohammed, few Christians know that in the Koran it is stated that Jesus did not die on the cross but it was made to look that way. Christians would rebuff that, too, and probably miss an important insight, which is Moslems are drilled in their Scripture and they know the Koran says Jesus did not die on the cross and they believe that every bit as much as Christians believe Jesus did die on the cross. What that boils down to for me is, Islam views Christianity as being based almost entirely on a non-event, meaning, Christianity is a false religion in Islam’s eyes. Not Jesus is false, as Islam sees him as a Prophet, but not the Last Prophet; but Christianity is false because its basic miracle did not happen according to the Koran.
Ironically, the Koran is basically correct. Jesus had a near-death experience, which today is known to happen sometimes. He returned from the dead as other people have returned from the dead. I know a fellow down here in the Keys who had a NDE as the result of getting the bends diving in the Mediterranean when he lived in Europe. He came back all charged up and didn’t know how to deal with it and it caused him problems.
According to the Gospels, Nicodemus and Joseph of Arithamaea went to Pilate to get permission to take Jesus down from the cross after he had only been up there a few hours. These two men were prominent Jews, who now publicly professed they were followers of Jesus, which cost them their membership in the elite Jewish County Club and would cause them to have to go on the run like all followers of Jesus who were Jews.
According to the Gospels, Nicodemus and Joseph of Arithamaea salved Jesus’ body in a hundred weight of aloes and myrrh, and then wrapped his body in linen, and then put Jesus’ body into Joseph of Arithamaea’s private burial tomb and rolled a rock over the entrance. These were not embalming herbs and the Jews did not embalm their dead. Aloe heals body wounds, myrrh excites white blood cell count to fight infection. What was the point of applying a hundred weight of aloes and myrrh to Jesus’ body, then bandaging his body, except to try to save his life? What was the point of those two men taking that risk and ruining their posh lives, except to try to save Jesus’ life? Why are these questions not asked in Christian churches?
I suppose that is why the classroom teacher could not be a practicing Muslim, either, and for yet another reason. The Koran has its own version of the Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael story. In the Koran’s version, Ishmael, the first born, the son of Hagar, Abraham’s concubine selected by his wife Sarah for him to produce the promised child God had promised Abraham, is the promised child. In Genesis, Isaac is the promised child. In Genesis, God tells Abraham not to worry about giving in to Sarah’s demand that Hagar and Ishmael be sent out into the wilderness where it seemed they would perish. God tells Abraham they will be taken care of and, like Isaac’s seed, Ishmael’s seed will become a great nation and will cause Isaac’s seed trouble.
Because of that passage in the Jewish Scripture, which also is in the Bible, and also in the Koran, there are Muslims today who believe it is their solemn duty to God to cause Jews and Christians trouble, since Moses and Jesus descended from Abraham via Isaac, as did Mohammed via Ishmael. They are three brothers, the three religions, each vying to be top dog. Why is this not discussed in Christian churches? I don’t know what is discussed in Jewish temples, as I don’t have that experience, except once I went to a Jewish service in Birmingham and it seemed very ritualistic and historical from the Jewish perspective, like I had seen in the Episcopal churches I had attended.
I remember dropping that Genesis bomb on a Methodist Sunday school class circa 2004, which was in a froth about killing Muslims, and then I dropped the Jesus bomb on them about turning the other cheek and forgiving their enemies, and then I asked them if Christians ever read the Bible?, and they were caught up by the shorthairs.
Of course, I never should be allowed to teach the history of religion in public schools, for I would rip Islam apart, too. I do not believe there is authority in the Koran for killing innocents, although there is plenty of authority for doing that in the Old Testament because God said it was okay despite “Thou shall not kill.” Then, along came Jesus and really spoiled the party in the Gospels, with “It was said an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, but I tell you to resist not one who does evil,” and so forth and so on.
When you and I learned the Pledge of Allegiance, there was no “under God” in it. I still make the pledge the way I learned it because I figure God decides who is under God and who is not.

Describes Mary Magdalene and Jesus to a T. Jesus never did anything by happenstance. Why do you think he picked Magdalene to first address when she and the two other women came to the tomb on the third day? Because she was his sweetheart, obviously. You can bet the ranch, if Magdalene publicly anointed Jesus’ feet with her hair, tears and precious ointment she scarce could afford, she anointed him with other of her parts and fluids in private. Their child upgraded the human bloodline exponentially, something you can read all about, if you wish, in Holy Blood, Holy Grail. They were a team from the beginning. Jews, they had a mandate from God to marry and propagate the species, didn’t they?
Jesus wanted Magdalene to go with him when he left Palestine, headed east toward India. She did not wish to leave her culture. So he left her and their coming child behind, and headed east with a very heavy heart. Alas, soon the Roman government made it a capital crime to be a Christian, and the only ways to avoid being executed were be a secret Christian, renounce Jesus, or flee. Magdalene fled with the infant, or with child, to the south of France, as told in Holy Blood, Holy Grail. She had to give up her culture anyway. The greatest love story in human history ended tragically. A love story of which the Vatican is very much aware and does all it can to squelch even today, just as it had European allies go into the south of France and kill every person who could be found, who knew of and believed what you just read, and sacked and burned their churches and libraries – the Cathars they were called.
The young Christian kid who got an A+ from his Christian teacher is clueless of the witchcraft and satanism and totem worship practiced by the early church after it became the State Church of the Roman Empire and being a Christian became fashionable. He is content to mindlessly swallow hook, line and sinker that Jesus died on the cross for him who had not yet been born, and because he believes that, and that Jesus was the only begotton Son of God – it says so right there in the Bible, or does it? – he is saved and will go to heaven when he dies. What could be more superstitious than to believe that superstitious poppy cock?, when Jesus says in any modern Bible you choose to pick up, that if you do not do what he said to do, you are like the foolish man who built his house on sand and when the flood came the house fell down and how great was that fall!
Over and over again, the Gospels Jesus told people how to live correctly: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth … ” But correct living was too difficult, it wasn’t attracting enough converts, so the early church invented a magic pill salvation, which I’m sure pleased the Devil immensely. More than a few times have I been told Christendom is the Anti-Christ because it claims salvation through Jesus but does not do what Jesus said to do. Many times have I been told Christendom is a Satanic Cult. And many, many times have I seen Christians prove it, all the while claiming salvation through Jesus.
No, I don’t suppose I should be allowed to teach a religious history class in a school classroom. Only history the Establishment wants taught is taught in school classrooms. History that often has very little to nothing to do with what really happened. What scares the kid who got the A+ doesn’t scare me. What scares me is the kid who got the A+. If I had been his teacher, I would have given him A+ for poetic ability and F- for application of that ability, and would have explained why.
With spare the rod, spoil the child in mind, I would have asked him, “Where in The Lord’s Prayer is there anything about dying and going to heaven?” I would ask him, “Isn’t The Lord’s Prayer about bringing heaven down to earth while we are still alive?” I would ask him if he is in favor of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and if so, how does he reconcile that with the Commandment Thou Shall Not Kill? And with Jesus saying resist not one who does evil and fear not him who can take your life, but fear him who can take your life and your soul? I would take him through that and all that you read above, if he did not bolt and flee. And then I would be fired, or killed, or both.
I can imagine running for the local school board next year might prove pretty darn interesting. I can imagine local school children getting wind of what I am writing and some of them start checking it out on my websites and passing it around and sending it to their friends in the Keys and on the mainland. I can imagine school children perhaps are easier to reach than adults. I can imagine that might cause serious unrest in the local Christian church communities. I can imagine them wanting to overlook the First Amendment and that my American rights of free speach match their American rights of free speach. I can imagine lots public commotion, if the church people are not real careful and don’t hold their peace and open their ears and listen to an ordained Melchizedek exorcist priest guided and corrected by Jesus and Archangel Michael.
I haven’t even got started yet on the non-religious mayhem being inflicted on children in the local school system, which is but a microcosm of what is happening to school children throughout America. American education is doing just as much harm to school children as is religious brainwashing, by teaching almost exclusively to children’s intellect, 5 percent of their brain, instead of to the whole child. And by teaching a college prep curriculum to children, as if all children are designed by God to attend college, when the statistics of American high school graduates not going to college, and the statistics of American high school graduates going to college and dropping out, prove conclusively that the American college prep educational model is the work of the Devil.
I was taught years ago that, while often what I am put to say or write may come across to the recipient or to others as unloving or even mean-spirited, not to say or write it would truly be unloving.
